Panda Motorworks E-tunes allow users with their own COBB Accessport to get professional tunes quickly and efficiently. After we gather the required information we will begin creating a tune specifically for you through the COBB pro software. Your tune will then be sent to you.
All customers are allowed a average of five revisions of their specific tunes. In order to create the best tune possible, it is essential that customers send back datalogs. After five revisions customers may pay an additional $150 for 5 more revisions or a 5 revision re-tune for new parts. Existing 91 or 93 tune customers have to option to upgrade to an e30 tune for $200

At Panda Motorworks, tuning isn't just built for one thing We provide street/ track performance that feels right.
Whether your vehicle is stock or you’re running bolt-ons, our calibrations are designed to improve how your vehicle drives every day—stronger acceleration, sharper response, and smoother power delivery—without sacrificing reliability.
What tuning improves
A proper performance tune can improve:
• Throttle response (faster reaction and better control)
• Horsepower and torque (real gains you can feel)
• Power delivery (smoother, more consistent pull through the RPM range)
• Drivability (better behavior in normal driving, not just wide open throttle)
• Overall efficiency (better use of airflow and fuel for cleaner performance)
Wheel power vs. factory power numbers
Most manufacturers advertise horsepower and torque measured at the engine, but real-world performance is what makes it to the pavement. That’s why tuners and dyno testing often reference wheel horsepower (WHP) and wheel torque (WTQ). It reflects the actual power delivered through the drivetrain.
Why “more power” isn’t always better
Anyone can chase the highest peak number, but not every tune is created equal.
At Panda Motorworks, our tuning is built around efficiency and reliability, because pushing past the safe threshold can lead to:
• Inconsistent performance
• Excessive heat
• Drivability issues
• Unnecessary engine stress
We build calibrations that make the vehicle faster and more enjoyable, while keeping it safe and dependable.
Tuning options:
RTD or Accessport
We offer tuning using the platform that matches your setup.HP Tuners RTD
For supported vehicles, HP Tuners RTD provides a clean way to flash your calibration, log data, and complete revisions All from your cell phone.
COBB Accessport
For supported vehicles, the COBB Accessport makes it easy to flash your tune, monitor data, and run a calibration that fits your exact modifications and goals.
Built for real driving our calibrations aren’t about max dyno numbers. They’re built for how you actually drive and use your Vehicle:
• Daily driving
• Spirited street driving
• Weekend fun (Autocross/ Canyon runs / back road driving)
• Long-term reliability
•Track days
•Drag Racing
•Towing

Our tuner Troy started his tuning journey tuning his own and friends cars for fun in 2006. He decided he enjoyed it so he pursued it farther and broadened his knowledge. Then He started part time tuning for Panda Motorworks in 2016 and went full time tuning for Panda Motorworks in 2019.
He has extensive background in Street and Dyno tuning (on our in house Dynojet 224x) the oem ecus in Ford, Mazda, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Chevy, Dodge, VW, Audi Vehicles and Standalone ECUs (Megasquirt, Holly EFI, MoTeC, Haltech) in anything from a Turbo Razor side by side to a Borla stack injected backdraft cobra with a 427. He's tuned 1,000's of cars over the last 20 years.
He comes to the table offering Ford Factory trained expertise as well (He was a Ford Senior Master Technician from 2010 to 2019) He worked in a Ford dealership from 2006 to 2019 doing everything from maintenance and repair to oem performance part installation (Roush, Ford Racing). So he can help typicality offer guidance remotely if a vehicle is showing issues in any logs he gets back.
