Description
Description
VP Racing VPR is a leaded, oxygenated powersports fuel that bridges the gap between pump gas and professional-grade race fuel. It is formulated for stock and lightly modified 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines used in motorcycles, ATVs, quads, UTVs, and side-by-sides.
VPR gives riders a practical step up from pump gas when they want more consistent performance without moving to a higher-cost, application-specific racing fuel. When properly calibrated, VP states VPR can provide 1% to 2% more power, improved throttle response, and greater consistency than pump gasoline.
With 99 MON, 114 RON, and 106.5 (R+M)/2 octane ratings, VPR is designed for powersports engines that benefit from a higher-octane, oxygenated fuel. Its 5.95% oxygen content supports performance potential, but proper jetting or fuel-injection tuning is important to achieve the correct air-fuel ratio.
VPR does not contain oil. Two-stroke riders must add the appropriate premix oil at the ratio specified by the engine manufacturer, engine builder, or tuner. VPR is green, leaded, and available in a 5-gallon pail for off-road and competition use where permitted.

Frequently asked questions
What is VP VPR Race Fuel?
VP VPR is a leaded, oxygenated powersports fuel for stock and lightly modified 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. It is designed for riders who want a practical performance upgrade from pump gas without stepping into a professional-grade race-fuel application.
What vehicles can use VP VPR?
VPR is designed for powersports applications, including motorcycles, ATVs, quads, UTVs, and side-by-sides. Confirm fuel compatibility with your engine builder, tuner, manufacturer guidance, and race-class rules before use.
Is VP VPR for 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines?
VPR can be used in both 2-stroke and 4-stroke powersports applications. Two-stroke engines require the proper premix oil and ratio because VPR does not contain oil.
How much more power can VPR provide than pump gas?
VP states that VPR can provide a 1% to 2% power increase over pump gas when the engine is properly calibrated. Actual results depend on the engine combination, compression ratio, ignition timing, intake and exhaust setup, weather conditions, and tuning.
Does VP VPR require jetting or tuning changes?
VPR contains 5.95% oxygen, so proper jetting or fuel-injection calibration is important. An oxygenated fuel can require adjustments to fuel delivery to achieve the correct air-fuel ratio.
Does VP VPR contain oil?
No. VPR does not contain oil. For a 2-stroke engine, add the premix oil and use the ratio recommended for your specific engine and application.
Is VP VPR leaded or unleaded?
VPR is leaded. Confirm compatibility with your engine, oxygen sensors, catalytic converter, fuel-system components, and racing regulations before use.
What is the octane rating of VP VPR?
VPR has a 99 MON, 114 RON, and 106.5 (R+M)/2 octane rating. Select fuel based on your complete engine combination and your tuner or engine builder's recommendations.
What is the difference between VPR and pump gas?
VPR is a purpose-built powersports fuel with higher octane, 5.95% oxygen content, and a controlled fuel profile. It is designed to offer more consistent performance and throttle response than variable pump gasoline, but it must be tuned correctly for the engine.
Is VP VPR street legal?
VPR is intended for off-road and competition use where permitted. Follow all applicable emissions, fuel, road-use, and racing-series regulations.
