Description
Description
VP Racing C14 Plus Race Fuel is a 117-octane, leaded, non-oxygenated racing fuel developed for the same high-RPM, ultra-high-compression engine applications as VP C14.
C14 Plus uses the same burn rate and closely matched specific gravity as C14, while providing additional octane for increased detonation protection. That makes it a strong option for racers whose engine combination needs more detonation margin than C14 provides without changing to a substantially different fuel profile.
As the spec fuel for NMRA and NMCA, C14 Plus delivers consistent fuel chemistry for repeatable tuning in demanding competition engines. Its non-oxygenated formula contains 0% oxygen, helping maintain stable air-fuel calibration without the additional tuning changes associated with oxygenated race fuels.
C14 Plus is colorless and available in 5-gallon pails and 54-gallon drums. It is intended for off-road and competition use where permitted.

Frequently asked questions
What is VP C14 Plus race fuel?
VP C14 Plus is a 117-octane, leaded, non-oxygenated race fuel designed for high-RPM, ultra-high-compression engines. It has the same primary applications, burn rate, and similar specific gravity as C14, with added octane for greater detonation protection.
What is the difference between C14 and C14 Plus?
C14 is a 116-octane leaded race fuel, while C14 Plus provides 117 octane. C14 Plus has the same intended applications, burn rate, and similar specific gravity as C14, but offers additional detonation protection for engine combinations that need more octane margin.
Is VP C14 Plus oxygenated?
No. C14 Plus contains 0% oxygen. Its non-oxygenated chemistry supports predictable combustion and stable tuning without the extra fuel-calibration changes associated with oxygenated race fuels.
Is C14 Plus leaded?
Yes. VP C14 Plus is a leaded racing fuel. Confirm compatibility with your engine, fuel system, oxygen sensors, catalytic converter, and racing-class rules before use.
What is the octane rating of VP C14 Plus?
VP C14 Plus has a 117 (R+M)/2 octane rating, with a 115 MON and 119 RON.
What racing series use C14 Plus as a spec fuel?
C14 Plus is a spec fuel for NMRA and NMCA competition. Always confirm the current fuel rules for your racing class before purchasing or competing.
Why is VP C14 Plus colorless?
C14 Plus is formulated without dye and appears colorless. Its color does not affect fuel chemistry, octane rating, or performance.
