Description
Description
VP C11 is a leaded race fuel with a 109.5 (R+M)/2 octane rating, formulated specifically for lower-compression drag racing engines. It is a dominant fuel in NHRA Stock and Super Stock class elimination, delivering significant horsepower and torque increases over 110 and 112 fuel types for engines in that compression range.
C11 is engineered for engines that benefit from a fuel matched to their actual compression ratio. In lower-compression applications, a fuel calibrated for the engine's needs can produce more complete combustion and more usable power than a higher-octane fuel designed for more extreme cylinder pressures.
C11 is identifiable by its gold color.

Frequently asked questions
What is VP C11 race fuel?
VP C11 is a leaded race fuel with a 109.5 (R+M)/2 octane rating, formulated for lower-compression drag racing engines. It is a dominant fuel in NHRA Stock and Super Stock class elimination and delivers more horsepower and torque than 110 and 112 fuel types for engines in that compression range.
What NHRA classes is VP C11 used in?
C11 is formulated for NHRA Stock and Super Stock class competition. It is designed for stock-based, lower-compression engines that benefit from a fuel matched to their compression ratio and combustion requirements.
Why does C11 outperform 110 and 112 fuels in lower-compression engines?
Higher-octane fuels are formulated for engines operating under higher cylinder pressure and heat. In a lower-compression engine, using a fuel matched to the engine's actual compression range can produce more complete combustion and more usable power. C11 is formulated for that application.
What is the difference between VP C11 and VP C12?
C12 has a higher octane rating of 119 (R+M)/2 and is designed for higher-compression engines and more demanding applications. C11 has a 109.5 (R+M)/2 rating and is formulated for lower-compression NHRA Stock and Super Stock engines, where additional octane is not necessarily beneficial.
Does VP C11 require hazmat shipping?
Yes. C11 is a flammable liquid subject to hazmat regulations. A surcharge will be added at checkout and reflected in the shipping cost.
