Description

VP 110 is a leaded, non-oxygenated race fuel engineered for naturally aspirated engines running compression ratios up to 12:1. With a Motor Octane (MON) rating of 108.0 and an antiknock index of 110.5 (R+M)/2, it delivers the detonation resistance serious racers need without the tuning complexity of oxygenated fuels. Non-oxygenated formulation means your air-fuel ratio targets stay consistent batch to batch, so you tune once and race with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

What compression ratio can VP 110 support? VP 110 is formulated for naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 12:1. If your build exceeds that, consider stepping up to a higher-octane VP fuel matched to your specific compression and induction setup.

Is VP 110 leaded or unleaded? VP 110 is a leaded fuel. It is not compatible with catalytic converters or oxygen sensors. It is intended for dedicated race vehicles only.

Can VP 110 be used in two-stroke engines? Yes. VP 110 works well in modified two-stroke applications and is commonly used as a standalone fuel or blended with pump gas in ratios from 25/75 to 50/50 for mildly modified two-stroke engines.

How long can VP 110 be stored? VP 110 has an oxidation stability rating of 1440+ minutes, indicating excellent shelf life. For best results, store in a sealed container away from heat and direct sunlight.

What is the difference between MON and RON? MON (Motor Octane Number) measures knock resistance under high-load, high-temperature conditions that closely simulate actual race engine operating conditions. RON (Research Octane Number) is measured under milder conditions. The pump rating (R+M)/2 is the average of both. For racing applications, MON is the more meaningful number because it reflects real-world detonation behavior under load.
