The COBB Stainless Steel Turbo Heat Shield is an attractive and functional upgrade designed to replace the unsightly factory shield on Subaru stock turbo setups. Built from precision-cut stainless steel, this heat shield reduces under-hood temperatures by preventing waste heat from the turbocharger and exhaust system from radiating into the engine bay. The result is reduced intake and intercooler heat soak, ensuring more consistent performance.
Unlike the factory shield, which requires trimming when paired with aftermarket downpipes, the COBB heat shield is designed to fit cleanly with both the stock turbo and COBB’s own cast-stainless bellmouth downpipe.
