The COBB SF Intake System is designed to improve airflow, increase power, and enhance induction sound for your 2008+ Subaru WRX and STI. By removing a pre-turbo restriction in the stock intake system, the SF Intake allows your turbocharger to breathe more efficiently, delivering measurable gains in performance while maintaining safe, consistent operation when paired with proper tuning.

At the core of the design is a custom conical cloth air filter element paired with a CFD-engineered velocity stack and a unique airflow straightener grid. Together, these features ensure smooth, consistent airflow across the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, preventing turbulence and enabling precise readings. Constructed as a one-piece high-temperature plastic composite, the intake is lightweight and resistant to heat transfer.

Beyond performance, the SF Intake also transforms the driving experience with a sharper, more aggressive induction sound. Turbo spool is far more audible, and bypass valve venting can be heard clearly, adding excitement to every gear change.

Installation is simple and requires no cutting, trimming, or permanent modifications. The intake bolts directly in place of the factory airbox using basic hand tools, and the filter comes pre-oiled and ready to install.
