Description
The Radium Engineering Mazda 26B Primary Fuel Rail Top Feed Conversion provides a modern high-flow fuel delivery solution for custom Mazda 26B 4-rotor engines. It converts the primary injector system to commonly available top-feed injectors while giving high-output rotary builds the fuel volume and plumbing flexibility needed for naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and competition applications.
The billet aluminum rail uses four 8AN ORB ports, allowing the fuel system to be configured around the needs of the build. The additional center ports can also support accessories such as a fuel pressure sensor, fuel temperature sensor, fuel pulse damper, pressure gauge, or compatible regulator. Appropriate fittings are selected separately based on the final fuel-system layout.
Radium includes 14mm lower injector seats with FKM O-rings, thermal-insulating spacers and washers, and stainless mounting hardware. The injector seats are designed to work with or without the factory injector diffusers and extend the injector O-ring beyond the original air-assist ports. Radium recommends retaining the OEM diffusers when possible to help reduce wall wetting and maintain drivability.
This conversion requires top-feed injectors with a 34mm body height and 14mm upper and lower O-rings. Because 26B engines are custom-built 4-rotor combinations, installation details can vary considerably from one engine to another, so injector selection, accessory clearance, and fuel-system plumbing should be confirmed before installation.
