Description
The Radium Engineering Fuel Pump Hanger for the Mitsubishi Evo X replaces the factory in-tank fuel pump module with a high-flow assembly designed to support one or two Walbro F90000267, F90000274, or F90000285 fuel pumps. It is a strong foundation for higher-horsepower 4B11T builds that need more fuel capacity than the factory pump module can reliably provide. Fuel pumps are not included with this version.
An integrated anodized aluminum collector box keeps fuel concentrated around the pump inlets, while a one-way fill valve and redesigned venturi jet pump continuously replenish the collector. This helps reduce fuel starvation during hard acceleration, braking, and cornering while avoiding the restriction created by the factory Evo X siphon system.
The hanger retains the OEM fuel level sender, fuel temperature sensor, and fuel tank pressure sensor to preserve factory functionality. It can connect to the factory fuel lines using the supplied adapters or be converted to a higher-flow fuel system using the included 8AN feed and 6AN return fittings. Radium recommends upgrading the feed and return plumbing when running dual pumps.
Radium currently lists this hanger for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. The current 20-1642 version supports Walbro F90000267, F90000274, and F90000285 pumps, so I would use 2008-2015 rather than 2008-2016 in the product data.
