Description
The Radium Engineering FCST-X Complete Refueling Kit with Remote-Mount 1.5-Inch Dry Break provides a complete quick-fill solution for vehicles using a Radium FCST-X Fuel Cell Surge Tank. Designed for motorsport applications where fast, clean refueling is important, the system relocates the filler away from the fuel cell while maintaining a purpose-built connection between the external dry-break receiver and the FCST-X.
The 1.5-inch female dry-break receiver is designed to mount remotely to an exterior vehicle surface, such as a body panel or fender. It connects to the FCST-X through the supplied remote fill neck and 1.5-inch fuel filler hose. A 12AN vent system provides the airflow required for rapid refueling.
A supplied 5-gallon dry-break dump can uses a matching male dry-break probe to engage the vehicle-mounted receiver. When connected, the male and female valves open together to allow rapid fuel transfer while minimizing spills. The male dry-break incorporates Radium's PRV pressure-relief feature, allowing pressure trapped inside the sealed dump can to be manually relieved when temperature changes cause pressure buildup.
The kit also includes a Dynamic Safety Valve (DSV) and dedicated vent hardware. When used with the dry-break filling system, the DSV manages vent airflow during refueling and automatically closes the vent path as the fuel level reaches the appropriate point.
This kit is designed exclusively for the current Radium FCST-X platform. Older Radium FCST assemblies using the previous 6-bolt filler-neck configuration are not compatible with FCST-X refueling kits.
