Description
Description
The Radium Engineering 2.8L 12V VR6 Fuel Rail is a direct fuel-rail upgrade for several early Volkswagen VR6 applications, including the 1991-2003 Golf GTI, 1991-1995 Corrado, 1991-2000 Passat, and 1992-2002 Jetta. It replaces the factory rail with a lightweight aluminum design that provides more plumbing flexibility for modified, forced-induction, and higher-output VR6 builds while retaining OEM-style injector fitment.
This rail uses a 0.7-inch internal bore and 8AN ORB ports, giving builders the ability to configure the feed, return, regulator, pulse damper, pressure gauge, or other fuel-system hardware around the needs of the vehicle. OEM injectors can be reused, or aftermarket injectors can be installed as long as they match the factory injector height and upper/lower O-ring dimensions. The factory injector retaining clips can also be reused.
Radium includes both early- and late-model mounting hardware because Volkswagen used different lower intake manifold designs across these applications. Engines with the early aluminum lower intake manifold use the longer mounts, while later polymer lower intake manifolds use the shorter mounts. The rail works with the late-model OEM upper intake manifold, but it is not compatible with the early aluminum upper intake manifold.
