Description
Upgrade the in-tank fuel system on your 2016+ Honda Civic with the Radium Engineering Fuel Pump Hanger. Designed to completely replace the factory fuel pump module, this high-performance hanger supports one, two, or three aftermarket fuel pumps, providing the fuel volume and plumbing flexibility needed for high-horsepower, ethanol, forced-induction, and motorsport applications.
This 20-1080 version is specifically designed for the AEM 50-1220 and DeatschWerks DW440 Brushless fuel pumps. Radium includes the hardware necessary to configure the hanger for one, two, or three pumps, allowing the fuel system to be scaled around the demands of the build. Fuel pumps are sold separately.
The hanger features a merged 10AN ORB female pump outlet in the top plate. A low-profile 8AN male outlet fitting is included for connection to an aftermarket feed line. The return inlet uses a 6AN ORB female port with an included 6AN male adapter. The fittings are designed to sit low enough to maintain clearance in the surrounding factory fuel-tank area.
Radium designed the assembly to retain important factory functionality. The OEM fuel-level sensor, vent connection, and ORVR emissions ports are reused, allowing the upgraded hanger to integrate with the vehicle rather than eliminating these systems. Components are also included to properly seal the applicable ports on vehicles that were not originally equipped with the same vent or ORVR configuration.
An integrated collector system helps protect against fuel starvation during acceleration, cornering, and other high-load driving conditions. The anodized aluminum collector keeps fuel around the pump inlets, while three one-way fill valves rated at 355 LPH each allow fuel into the collector while limiting its ability to escape. Fuel returning from the pressure regulator also continuously replenishes the collector.
High-current stainless-steel electrical studs provide robust electrical connections for demanding fuel pumps. The terminals use an anti-rotation design, hermetically sealed serviceable connections, insulated aluminum acorn nuts, and chemically resistant ETFE in-tank wiring. The hanger supports both conventional and brushless pump configurations.
