Radium Engineering designed the 06-09 Honda S2000 Fuel Surge Tank Kit (FST Not Incl) as a purpose-built solution that maintains a small reserve of fuel around the high-pressure pump or pumps to reduce starvation during sustained cornering, acceleration, and braking. A surge tank is especially useful on track and competition builds where fuel can move away from the factory pickup even when there is still fuel in the main tank.
For 06-09 Honda S2000, it is intended to integrate with the vehicle-specific layout rather than serve as a universal substitute. Pump model and quantity are part-number-specific. Match the surge-tank configuration to the exact pump family being used.
