Both variants are engineered around real performance targets with consistent seat and open pressures and a reliable 7-degree lock interface. The Zetec 2.0 kit is a drop-in for classic Ford/Mazda applications and trims retainer mass by about a gram vs. OEM. The Duratec/MZR/EcoBoost kit covers today’s 2.0/2.3/2.5 families used across Focus ST, Focus RS, Mustang, Bronco, Ranger, and more. Whether you’re refreshing a Zetec head or pushing a big-turbo EcoBoost, this is the valvetrain foundation serious setups rely on.

Compatibility Notes
Focus SVT: Not compatible with SVT head—use the appropriate Cat Cams spring/retainer set.
Machining: Some Zetec heads may need light spring-pocket opening.
Measurement: Always verify installed height, coil-bind margin, and retainer-to-seal clearance with your chosen cam lift.
Locks/Keepers: Confirm keeper angle and stem-groove style before assembly.
Builder Notes
Measure everything during mockup. Target the listed installed heights and pressures, maintain safe bind clearance, and recheck after final torquing. For aggressive profiles or extreme RPM, consult your cam grinder’s recommended seat/open pressures.
