Keep oil vapors and contaminants out of the intake system of your 2017-2019 Ford Fusion Sport 2.7L EcoBoost with the J&L 3.0 Oil Separator. Designed as a direct-fit solution for the passenger side PCV system, this oil separator helps capture oil vapor and other crankcase contaminants before they can make their way back into the intake tract.
Turbocharged engines can generate increased crankcase pressure, sending oil vapor through the PCV system and into the intake. Over time, this can contribute to oil accumulation in the intake tubing and manifold. The J&L 3.0 uses a fine stainless steel mesh filter to separate oil from the vapor stream, allowing the captured oil to collect in the 3-ounce reservoir rather than continuing into the intake.
The separator is machined from solid 6061 billet aluminum and features a knurled lower section for easy removal when servicing the unit. An O-ring seal helps prevent leaks, while the OEM-style quick-connect installation provides a clean, plug-and-play fit without requiring permanent modifications to the vehicle.
J&L designs its oil separators with serviceability and an OEM-style appearance in mind. The 3.0 model can be checked periodically and drained as needed, with J&L recommending an initial inspection around 1,000 miles to determine how quickly your particular vehicle is accumulating fluid.
