Description

These rotors are a direct bolt-on upgrade for your OEM brakes and are designed to reduce unsprung and rotational mass, helping your suspension respond quicker and improving handling, braking control, and acceleration. Each rotor weighs less than the stock unit thanks to its two-piece construction—a high-carbon cast iron ring mated to a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hat.

The rings are cast in GiroDisc’s proprietary high-carbon iron alloy and feature a 48-curved vane internal cooling system that pulls in air from the hub and forces it outward like a centrifugal pump, keeping brake temps in check during repeated hard stops.

The CNC-machined aluminum hats are anodized black to resist corrosion and are reusable during future rotor services. The floating design uses cadmium-plated steel drive pins, Belleville washers, and anti-noise spring clips that allow for proper thermal expansion, consistent pad alignment, and silent street use.

When the rotor rings wear out, you won’t need to buy an entirely new rotor. Simply replace them with GiroDisc’s direct-fit Front Replacement Rings (SKU: D1-268), which come with all the required hardware. Just unbolt the worn rings from your existing GiroDisc hats and install the new ones—no special tools or modifications required.

⚠️ Note: These replacement rings are only compatible with GiroDisc rotor hats. They will not fit OEM or other aftermarket 2-piece rotors.
