Description

The GiroDisc 2-piece front rotors for the 2021+ Acura TLX Type S are a direct bolt-on upgrade designed to work seamlessly with your factory calipers. Each rotor weighs just 21.85 lbs compared to the stock 25.8 lbs, delivering a reduction in both unsprung weight and rotating mass for improved handling and braking response.

Crafted from GiroDisc’s proprietary high-carbon iron alloy, the rotor rings offer exceptional durability and heat dissipation. The 48 curved vane internal design functions as a centrifugal pump, drawing in cool air through the hub and expelling hot air for optimal thermal management under aggressive driving or track conditions.

The reusable hat is CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance, and attached to the rotor ring with high-strength steel drive pins that are cadmium-plated. A floating mount system with Belleville washers and spring clips ensures true race-ready performance while remaining quiet enough for street use.

When it’s time for servicing, GiroDisc offers replacement rotor rings (Part Number D1-284) that come in pairs with new hardware, allowing you to reuse your existing hats. Please note: GiroDisc replacement rings are only compatible with GiroDisc hats and are not designed for OEM or other aftermarket hats.
