The FactionFab V2 Brake Pads for F40-Style Brembo Calipers are designed to deliver consistent braking performance, predictable pedal modulation, and dependable stopping power for daily driving, autocross, and light track use. Featuring a semi-metallic friction compound, these pads are engineered to dissipate heat efficiently while maintaining reliable performance during repeated braking.
The V2 Stage 1 compound provides an average coefficient of friction of 0.39µ, with a cold-temperature coefficient of 0.44µ. This combination is designed to provide dependable initial bite and predictable modulation, making the pads suitable for aggressive street driving and autocross while retaining useful low-temperature performance for everyday use.
FactionFab uses textured steel shims to support heat management and grease retention, while precision laser-cut backing plates provide accurate pad geometry and durability. OE-style gas slots and chamfers help reduce vibration-related noise, contributing to a quieter and more consistent braking experience. The thermal characteristics of the semi-metallic compound are designed to remain predictable under demanding conditions.
These pads use the FMSI D968 shape, commonly associated with F40-style Brembo calipers found in various original-equipment and aftermarket big brake kits. Application-specific hardware, such as spring clips and pins, is included depending on the application.
