Description
The FactionFab Subaru Pitch Stop Mount is designed for 2002+ Subaru WRX and STI models to reduce front-to-back engine movement during acceleration and braking while helping limit unwanted stress on the firewall. By replacing the compliant factory pitch stop with a rigid billet aluminum mount and polyurethane bushing, this upgrade provides improved drivetrain control and a more precise connection between the engine and chassis.
The mount features a billet 6061-T6 aluminum body with a black Type 2 hard-anodized finish for durability and corrosion resistance. A 95A durometer vacuum-cast polyurethane bushing is used to significantly reduce front-to-back movement while maintaining the strength needed for performance applications.
A key feature of the FactionFab design is the QA1 high-precision stainless steel PTFE-lined spherical bearing. The bearing allows up to 20 degrees of combined torsional movement before additional stress is transferred to the firewall. This helps accommodate drivetrain movement while reducing unwanted torsional loading on the factory firewall mounting area.
The mount also uses 304 stainless steel machined inserts to improve load distribution and corrosion resistance. With a direct factory replacement design requiring no modifications, the FactionFab Pitch Stop Mount provides a durable upgrade for Subaru enthusiasts looking to improve engine control and drivetrain response.
