Description
The FactionFab Shifter Bushing Combo for 2004+ Subaru STI 6MT replaces the factory rubber shifter bushings with durable polyurethane components designed to reduce unwanted shifter movement and improve shift precision. The combination includes both the 6-speed shifter bushings and rear shifter bushing, providing a comprehensive upgrade for the factory shifter assembly.
The 6-speed shifter bushings are manufactured from 95A durometer vacuum-cast polyurethane to help minimize excess movement during gear changes. Machined 304 stainless steel inserts provide improved load distribution and corrosion resistance, while the direct-replacement design allows installation without modifications to the factory components.
The included rear shifter bushing uses a softer 80A durometer polyurethane and positions the rear mounting point 10mm lower than stock. This revised mounting position helps refine shifter geometry, while the stainless steel inserts distribute loads and resist corrosion. Grade 8.8 zinc-plated hardware is also included for installation.
