Description
The FactionFab Shifter Bushing Combo for 2002ā2014 Subaru WRX 5MT replaces the factory rubber shifter bushings with durable polyurethane components designed to reduce unwanted shifter movement and improve shift precision. The combination includes both the 5-speed shifter bushings and the rear shifter bushing for a more complete upgrade to the factory shifter assembly.
The 5-speed shifter bushings are made from 95A durometer vacuum-cast polyurethane and use 304 stainless steel machined inserts for improved load distribution and corrosion resistance. They are direct replacements for the factory bushings and require no modifications during installation.
The rear shifter bushing uses 80A vacuum-cast polyurethane and positions the rear mounting point 10mm lower than stock. This helps improve shifter control while maintaining direct factory-style installation. It also uses 304 stainless steel machined inserts and includes Grade 8.8 zinc-plated hardware for a durable installation.
All components are designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA. By replacing soft, aging factory rubber bushings with firmer polyurethane components, the kit helps eliminate shifter slop and provides more precise, consistent shifts for street and performance-driven Subaru applications.
