Description
Description
The FactionFab Rear Stainless Steel Brake Lines for the 2004–2007 Subaru STI replace the factory rubber brake hoses with stainless steel braided lines designed to improve pedal feedback and braking consistency. Factory rubber lines can soften, swell, and expand under pressure over time, while stainless braided construction helps minimize that expansion for a more direct hydraulic connection between the brake pedal and calipers.
Each line features a PTFE Teflon inner liner to carry brake fluid, supported by a woven stainless steel middle layer for strength and durability. A clear, abrasion-resistant PCV outer coating helps protect the inner liner and stainless braid from chafing and impact while providing additional protection around the fittings and stress-relief areas.
FactionFab tests each line to a 4500 psi burst pressure and uses precision-machined stainless steel fittings for proper fitment and corrosion resistance. The 100% model-specific design provides a direct replacement for compatible factory rear brake lines, and the required installation hardware is included.
Designed for street and performance driving, these rear brake lines help deliver a more consistent braking response under demanding conditions. Verify your vehicle's rear brake configuration and line routing before ordering.
