Description
The FactionFab Rear Stainless Steel Brake Lines are designed for 2008–2017 Subaru STI, 2013–2020 Subaru BRZ, 2013–2016 Scion FR-S, and 2017–2020 Toyota 86 applications. These model-specific replacement lines upgrade the factory rubber brake hoses with stainless steel braided construction to help reduce hose expansion under pressure and provide more direct, consistent brake pedal feedback.
Each line features a PTFE Teflon inner liner that carries brake fluid, supported by a woven stainless steel middle layer for strength and durability. A clear, abrasion-resistant PCV outer coating helps protect the braided layer and inner liner from chafing and impact while providing additional protection around the fittings and stress-relief areas.
FactionFab tests each line to a 4500 psi burst pressure and uses precision-machined stainless steel fittings designed for accurate fitment and corrosion resistance. The vehicle-specific design helps simplify installation compared with adapting universal brake lines, and the necessary installation hardware is included.
