Description
The FactionFab Front Stainless Steel Brake Lines are designed for 2004–2007 Subaru STI and 2002–2007 Subaru WRX models, replacing the factory rubber front brake lines with a stainless steel braided design. The upgrade helps reduce the expansion and deformation associated with conventional rubber hoses, providing a more direct and consistent connection between the brake pedal and calipers.
Each line features a PTFE Teflon inner liner that carries the brake fluid and a stainless steel woven middle layer that supports the liner under pressure. A clear, abrasion-resistant PCV outer coating helps protect the stainless braid and inner liner from chafing, impact, and environmental exposure while also providing protection around the fitting and stress-relief areas.
FactionFab tests each line to a 4500 psi burst pressure and uses precision-machined stainless steel fittings for accurate fitment and corrosion resistance. The model-specific design provides a direct replacement without requiring universal line adaptation, while included hardware helps complete the installation.
By reducing the expansion found in aging factory rubber brake hoses, these lines can provide improved pedal feedback and a more consistent braking response. They are a practical upgrade for street, performance, and track-driven Subaru applications where predictable brake feel is important.
