The FactionFab F-Spec Rear Brake Pads for 2003–2005 Subaru WRX are designed to deliver consistent braking performance with strong initial bite, predictable modulation, and stable friction characteristics across a wide range of street and performance driving conditions. The para-aramid friction compound is well suited for aggressive street driving, autocross, and light track use while maintaining good low-temperature performance and low operating noise.
The F-Spec compound is rated for temperatures up to 1300°F, helping provide fade resistance during repeated hard braking. A pre-scorched friction compound improves initial modulation, particularly during cold-weather operation, while the O.E.-style gas slots and chamfers help control vibration and noise.
FactionFab uses positive molded technology to compress the friction material under extreme pressure, helping remove impurities and excess resins for consistent, reliable performance throughout the pad's service life. Precision-cut backing plates provide accurate fitment within the caliper, while mechanically attached, application-specific shims help reduce brake noise caused by pad vibration.
These rear brake pads are designed for Subaru WRX applications with the compatible rear caliper configuration. Due to a rear caliper design change during 2002–2003 production, early WRX owners should verify the vehicle build date and compare the existing pad shape before ordering.
