The FactionFab FR-Spec Rear Coilover Replacement Strut is designed for compatible 2002–2007 Subaru WRX and STI coilover applications. If an existing damper has become worn or heavily used, this replacement provides a practical way to service the suspension without necessarily replacing the entire coilover assembly, helping reduce repair costs and vehicle downtime.
FactionFab offers individual replacement dampers as an alternative to replacing a complete coilover system when only one component needs attention. Replacing the affected damper can help restore suspension function while allowing the remaining coilover components to be retained, provided they are still in suitable condition.
This rear replacement strut is designed for use with compatible FactionFab FR-Spec coilover kits FFA1.10173.2 and FFA1.10174.2. It is intended specifically for the rear suspension position and is compatible with Version 1 coilovers only. It is not compatible with Version 2 systems, so verifying your existing coilover model and version is essential before ordering.
