The FactionFab FR-Spec Front Coilover Replacement Strut is designed for compatible 2002–2007 Subaru WRX and STI coilover applications. If a damper becomes worn or heavily used, this replacement component allows you to service the affected coilover without necessarily replacing the complete assembly, helping reduce repair costs and suspension downtime.
FactionFab offers individual replacement dampers as a practical alternative to replacing an entire coilover system when only one component needs attention. Replacing the affected damper can help restore suspension performance while allowing the remaining coilover components to be retained, provided they are still in suitable condition.
This front replacement strut is intended for use with FactionFab coilover kits FFA1.10173.2 and FFA1.10174.2. It is application-specific and designed for the front suspension position. According to the supplied specifications, it is compatible with Version 1 coilovers only and is not compatible with Version 2 systems.
