After months of in-depth engineering and testing, Custom Performance Engineering (cp-e®) proudly introduces the ∆Core™ Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) for the 2017–2020 Ford Fusion Sport and Lincoln MKZ 3.0T. Designed to support serious power gains while maintaining daily drivability, this intercooler replaces the restrictive factory unit with a high-efficiency bar-and-plate core and low-turbulence cast end tanks for maximum airflow and minimal lag.
The cp-e ∆Core™ FMIC measures an impressive 29" x 6" x 5.5", maximizing every millimeter of space behind the bumper for optimal cooling capacity. This design delivers substantially lower and more consistent charge air temperatures, resulting in a proven 28whp and 25wtq gain in the upper RPM range thanks to its resistance to heat soak.
Unlike other large-core intercoolers that compromise drivability, cp-e’s advanced end tank geometry and computer-optimized internal flow paths ensure balanced airflow distribution and minimal pressure drop. Installation is simple with CNC-cut mounting brackets and a bolt-on fit—no drilling, cutting, or permanent vehicle modifications required.
Crafted from premium materials and fully TIG-welded, this intercooler is built for long-term reliability and performance under high boost conditions.
Note: Not compatible with vehicles equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
