The COBB Air/Oil Separator for the 2015–2023 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is a precision-engineered solution designed to enhance engine longevity and performance by eliminating oil vapor contamination in the intake system. Built to work seamlessly with the factory breather plate, COBB’s system features a proprietary spacer plate constructed from 33% glass-filled nylon—an OEM-grade material injection molded for perfect fitment. This spacer sits between the OEM AOS and engine block, using an additional COBB-supplied OEM gasket to ensure a leak-free seal.

This AOS kit is more than just an oil catch solution—it incorporates a billet aluminum canister with a swirl pot and internal baffles that separate oil particles from crankcase blow-by gases. These particles condense into a liquid and return to the crankcase via a drain-back system, eliminating the need to manually empty the canister. This keeps intake valves cleaner, reduces detonation risk, and preserves fuel octane integrity by preventing oil vapor from entering the intake manifold.

The tank itself features a bright black anodized finish, laser-etched COBB branding, and additional baffling inside the canister and plate. Designed entirely in-house by COBB, this solution is plug-and-play, non-invasive, and 100% emissions legal—approved for sale and use in all 50 states with CARB EO# D-660-123.
