Description

The new sound of Civic. Designed specifically for the FK8 Honda Civic Type R, the AWE Exhaust Suite unlocks the full potential of the K20 engine while delivering a refined, drone-free tone — or all-out aggression, depending on your setup. Built from U.S.-sourced .065” wall T304L stainless steel and crafted entirely in-house at AWE’s Pennsylvania facility, this system sets the new standard for the CTR aftermarket.

All configurations come standard with a 3” integrated front pipe designed with a factory-style flange and a double-layer steel gasket — a long-lasting, leak-free solution far more durable than aftermarket flat gaskets. Whether you're daily driving or track thrashing, this system is built for long-term performance.

Choose from three unique configurations:

The Touring Edition “Classic” features AWE’s patented 180 Technology®, tuned specifically for the FK8’s K20 engine. It delivers a deep, full-bodied tone under throttle and a peaceful, drone-free experience at highway speeds — perfect for those who want power and civility in one package.

The Touring Edition with DualPhase Mid Pipe adds a Helmholtz resonator upstream in the mid-pipe, specifically engineered to cancel additional drone-prone frequencies — especially helpful if you're running an aftermarket downpipe. Whether stock or modded, this version is future-proofed for any build.

The Track Edition goes full-send. It removes the rear 180 Technology® resonator in favor of a straight-through rear section, amplifying volume and aggression. It shares the same front and mid-pipe foundation as the Touring Editions but offers unfiltered K20 energy. Note: It gets loud. Really loud. Not returnable due to sound preference.

All systems are available with either triple or dual 4.5” slash-cut tips in chrome silver or diamond black, with individually adjustable outlets for perfect bumper fitment. And thanks to AWE’s modular design, you can switch tip setups, add or remove the DualPhase Mid Pipe, or convert between Touring and Track Editions with Conversion Kits — no full repurchase required.

As demonstrated by the dyno results, this exhaust system delivers a significant increase in peak power, boosting it by 5 hp and 9 lb-ft of torque. Testing was conducted on a stock Civic Type R in a controlled environment using 93-octane fuel. Actual power results may vary depending on the chassis dynamometer used. The published results reflect the average of multiple valid power runs.
