While some vehicles can get away with a larger drop in fuel pump to supply more fuel to the engine, there are other models that use a different approach. This is the Autotech Hi-Volume Fuel Pump Upgrade Kit which features a cam-driven fuel pump located in the engine bay that has been designed to provide the fuel delivery to support other modifications such as an intake or an exhaust system.
This particularĀ pump can achieve flow rates that are 50% higher than the original pump and removes any limitations when compared to the factory unit. Autotech carefully manufactured this pump using a precision grinding process to maintain exact tolerances before they are match-ground and serialized to ensure absolute precision and to promote longevity.Ā
Additionally, some of the components of this fuel pump have been plasma DLC coated to help reduce friction losses while improving performance.
