The ARB Old Man Emu Upper Control Arms are designed to improve suspension geometry, alignment, and handling on lifted Toyota vehicles equipped with independent front suspension. When a vehicle is lifted, factory upper control arms can limit alignment adjustments and affect steering performance. These vehicle-specific control arms help bring alignment settings back into an acceptable range while providing additional clearance for larger tires and upgraded suspension components.
Built with a durable tubular steel design, forged eyelets, and forged ball joint housings, the Old Man Emu upper control arms are engineered for strength and long-term reliability on and off the road. Free-pivoting GIIRO bushings provide smooth suspension movement without routine bushing lubrication, while heavy-duty greaseable ball joints are protected by caps for added durability.
Finished in textured black, these control arms offer a clean appearance and are designed to complement lifted suspension systems. Factory brake and ABS line locators help simplify installation, and the increased clearance supports more demanding off-road setups.
A professional wheel alignment is required after installation. Check fender clearance when running aftermarket wheels and tires to ensure adequate clearance throughout suspension travel.
