Description
The Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered for Hyundai Elantra, Elantra GT, Veloster, i30, and Kia Forte GT/ProCeed GT turbocharged 1.6L engines. Its innovative open-element design leverages the factory air inlet and features a built-in ram air scoop, delivering a significant increase in airflow while producing a highly aggressive turbo spool sound.
With the Pro DRY S filter, expect up to +9 HP and +8 lb-ft of torque. The oil-free, three-layer synthetic media provides life-long convenience without the need for filter oiling. The Pro 5R filter option boosts performance even further, with up to +14 HP and +13 lb-ft of torque. Its pre-oiled, five-layer cotton gauze media ensures maximum airflow for street or track use.
Both systems feature a CAD-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube that is heat-soak resistant and extremely durable. The open-element housing allows for easy filter viewing and improved intake sound. Installation is a direct bolt-on using factory mounting locations and requires no cutting or drilling, making it fast and hassle-free.
