The 6-pad rigid race disc uses high-quality ceramic friction material for aggressive engagement and improved heat resistance. Compared to a street-style clutch disc, engagement will be harsher, but the rigid race design helps provide faster shifting and a more direct clutch feel. This disc is best suited for performance builds, race use, and higher-output applications where clutch durability and fast engagement are a priority.
ACT uses top-grade rivets to securely fasten the disc assembly together. The rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength and durability. The 6-pad design is recommended for larger clutch sizes to help absorb more heat while providing smoother engagement than more aggressive small-pad race disc configurations.
This disc must be used with an ACT pressure plate and the factory flywheel. It is backed by ACT’s one-year warranty for added confidence.
