The Build
About Todd's Focus RS
Todd's Focus RS was built with the entire system in mind. A PandaBuilt Stage 2 short block and ported cylinder head provide the foundation, while Piper V3 cams and a Mountune EFR 7163 turbo move the engine well beyond the limits of the factory setup. PandaTuned 91-octane and E50 calibrations give the car flexibility for both street use and the higher-output ethanol combination.
The supporting hardware is just as important. A Competition Clutch twin-disc, Quaife LSD, upgraded carbon synchros and full motor-mount setup strengthen the drivetrain. Pedders coilovers and Massive rear suspension components help control the chassis, while upgraded intercooling, radiator, oil cooling and auxiliary fueling support the engine under load. The result is a Focus RS built as a complete package from the engine bay to the wheels.
