FROM TUNING SUPPORT TO A FULL PANDA-BUILT PROGRAM.
Chelsea DeNofa's 1992 Fox Body Mustang was built around a lightweight, affordable drift-car concept and a modern 2.3L EcoBoost swap. Panda Motorworks first became involved on the tuning side, then continued supporting the car as the combination evolved into a fully built PandaBuilt engine program.
The current combination makes 550 horsepower with a PandaBuilt 2.3L EcoBoost. Fuel storage is handled by a Radium Engineering 10.5-gallon spare-tire fuel cell, giving the Fox Body a compact motorsports-oriented fuel solution suited to repeated drift use.
This is why Radium is more than a catalog brand at Panda Motorworks. The hardware has a place in real builds where packaging, fuel delivery, serviceability and reliability all have to work together.
