Description
The Radium Engineering CCV Catch Can Kit for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT is a direct-fit crankcase ventilation upgrade for the S550 Mustang’s 5.0L Coyote engine. It installs on the front left side of the engine and routes inline between the crankcase breather port and the air intake pipe, intercepting oil mist, moisture, and blow-by contaminants before they can be pulled into the intake system.
Keeping oil vapor out of the intake helps reduce residue in the intake piping, throttle body, and other induction components. Radium’s pressure-sealed catch can uses two-stage oil separation baffling, an integrated dipstick, and a 7-fluid-ounce reservoir. The current Fluid Lock version also incorporates Radium’s patented system that prevents accumulated fluid from overflowing back into the intake if the reservoir becomes full.
This kit is built specifically for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT S550 and requires no drilling for installation. Radium includes the vehicle-specific mounting bracket, 8AN adapter fittings and hose ends, 1/2-inch PCV hose, and stainless mounting hardware needed to integrate the catch can with the factory-style CCV routing.
