The Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE/DOT White Sport Flush Mount LED Pod Kit sets a new standard for compact auxiliary lighting. Designed for maximum intensity and efficiency, the SS3 Sport produces higher usable output than any other 3-inch LED pod on the market, while maintaining a clean, OEM-style appearance when installed.
Each pod utilizes custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics, which capture and direct nearly all emitted light exactly where it’s needed. Unlike traditional reflectors or multi-lens designs that lose output to glare and internal reflection, the SS3’s optic also serves as the primary lens—maximizing efficiency and reducing light loss for superior real-world performance.
Available in SAE Driving, SAE Fog, Flood, or Combo beam patterns, the SS3 Sport is adaptable to virtually any lighting need. SAE Driving and SAE Fog patterns meet SAE J581 and J583 standards respectively when installed and aimed correctly, making them legal for on-road use in many applications. Flood and Combo patterns provide wide, uniform illumination ideal for off-road use, work lighting, and low-speed visibility.
The included flush mount bezel and gasket allow the pods to be cleanly recessed into bumpers, truck beds, or panels for a factory-integrated look. Each pod also features an integrated backlight accent in your choice of amber or red, illuminating the TIR optic for a distinctive modern appearance when the main beam is off.
Built with a powder-coated aluminum housing, integrated Deutsch-style connectors, and tested to SAE standards for vibration, moisture, corrosion, and extreme temperatures, the SS3 Sport is engineered for long-term reliability.
