In 2015 Ford decided to delete the stock baffling system in the 2.0 &2.3 Ecoboost Engines making it harder to install a upgraded Baffle in the oil pan! We opened up a 2016 Focus RS engine to find the oil pan had identical casting to the older pans with factory baffles. This meant all that is needed to install a BSD Baffle is tap the pan in 6 spots so you can install your nee upgraded Baffle. We have put together a install kit for any owner looking to do this themselves.Ā
