This upgrade is a direct-fit replacement that more than doubles the size of the factory intercooler, offering a 214% greater volume and 260% larger frontal area for superior cooling. In real-world testing, this intercooler delivers an 85Ā°F reduction in charge air temps, resulting in lower heat soak and consistent power on the street or track.
The kit includes 2.75" cold-side and 2.25" hot-side aluminum pipes that outflow the restrictive OEM units by 28% (cold-side) and 15% (hot-side). This eliminates the crimped section of the factory piping, allowing unrestricted airflow from the intercooler to the throttle body for improved throttle response and more power.
Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the intercooler uses a TIG-welded bar-and-plate design with fully cast end tanks featuring the CVF logo. This ensures maximum strength, durability, and optimal flow efficiency. The kit also includes CVF-branded 4-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel T-bolt clamps for a leak-free installation.
