Designed specifically for the 2005–2010 Mustang GT platform, this axle-back system transforms the character of the 4.6L V8 with a straightforward, performance-driven design focused on sound, simplicity, and durability.

The Touring Edition axle-back incorporates AWE’s patented 180 Technology®, engineered to eliminate drone-prone frequencies without relying on traditional packing materials. This allows the system to deliver a deep, muscular exhaust tone under acceleration while maintaining a comfortable, refined cabin experience during cruising.

For drivers seeking a more aggressive and unfiltered experience, the Track Edition removes the 180 Technology® resonators entirely, producing a raw, high-volume exhaust note that fully unleashes the character of the S197 Mustang GT. This configuration is designed for enthusiasts who prioritize sound intensity and presence above all else.

Both versions are constructed from CNC mandrel-bent U.S.-sourced .065” wall T304L stainless steel, ensuring long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent acoustic performance. The axle-back design simplifies installation by retaining the factory mid-pipe and utilizing the OEM clamp location, making it a true bolt-on upgrade with no cutting required.

Each system is finished with dual 4.5” double-walled slash-cut tips available in chrome silver or diamond black. The tips are individually adjustable, allowing precise positioning within the rear bumper for a custom, factory-plus appearance.

The Track Edition is intentionally more aggressive and is not recommended for drivers sensitive to exhaust volume. For this reason, sound preference returns are not accepted on Track configurations.
