The Diode Dynamics SS3 White Sport LED Pod Kit sets the benchmark for performance in the 3-inch auxiliary lighting category. Designed with modern Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics, the SS3 captures and directs nearly all emitted light precisely where it’s needed, dramatically reducing glare and maximizing real-world output compared to traditional reflector-based designs.
Unlike conventional LED pods that lose light through secondary lenses, the SS3’s custom-molded TIR optic serves as both the optic and primary lens, improving efficiency and overall intensity. Paired with high-intensity LED emitters, this results in exceptional brightness and focus from a compact housing.
The SS3 Sport is available in a wide range of beam patterns to suit virtually any application. SAE Driving and SAE Fog patterns meet SAE J581 and J583 standards when installed and aimed properly, making them legal for on-road use in many applications. Flood, Combo, and Spot patterns provide versatile solutions for off-road driving, work lighting, backup illumination, and long-distance visibility.
Each pod features an integrated backlight accent in your choice of amber or red, illuminating the TIR optic for a distinctive modern appearance when the main beam is off. A powder-coated aluminum housing, Deutsch-style connector, and extensive SAE-standard testing ensure long-term durability in extreme environments.
