With a core that's 53% larger than stock and a 23% increase in cooling efficiency, this direct replacement FMIC solves the heat soak issues common to the factory unit—unlocking more consistent power and performance under load.
Crafted in-house by COBB with billet aluminum end tanks and full TIG-welded construction, this intercooler slots seamlessly into the factory location. It mates directly with the OEM shutter shroud to preserve airflow dynamics—no trimming, cutting, or permanent modifications required.
Designed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), the end tanks ensure uniform airflow with no turbulence zones. The outlet port also features a precision chamfer to improve transition into the throttle body tube, reducing restrictions and promoting smoother, more efficient airflow.
