Designed as a bolt-on upgrade for GT, Bullitt, and Mach 1 models equipped with 6-piston Brembo brakes, this system delivers proven performance for both spirited street use and track-day abuse.
The heart of the GiroDisc braking system is its fully floating 2-piece design, combining a proprietary high-carbon cast iron rotor ring with a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hat. This setup dramatically reduces unsprung and rotational mass compared to the factory brake system—improving handling, throttle response, and suspension compliance.
The front rotors feature massive 380mm rings with 72 curved internal vanes that act as centrifugal pumps, drawing cool air through the rotor to reduce fade during extended hard braking. Rear rotors are also vented with 48 curved vanes, ensuring balanced cooling and consistent performance across all four corners.
Every detail is engineered for longevity and precision: cadmium-plated drive pins allow axial and radial float, spring washers accommodate thermal expansion, and the anodized hats resist corrosion under harsh conditions. The result is a quiet, streetable rotor system that still shines under aggressive or track-day driving.
