Description
Description
The award-winning Turbosmart Kompact EM Series Blow-Off Valve (TS-0223-1082) is the industry’s first fully plug-and-play solution for vehicles equipped with an electronic factory diverter valve. Designed specifically for the 2022+ Ford Bronco Raptor 3.0L EcoBoost, this high-performance upgrade replaces the OEM valve with zero adapters, hoses, splicing, or tuning required. Simply unplug the stock unit, unbolt it, install the EM valve in its place, and the factory ECU continues managing valve operation exactly as intended—preserving drivability while improving boost control.
Constructed from billet aluminum and equipped with Turbosmart’s proprietary high-temperature solenoid and O-rings, the Kompact EM delivers tighter sealing, faster response, and superior thermal stability under aggressive boost conditions. This is especially beneficial for modified Raptors or larger-flow turbo setups, where the factory electronic diverter valve often struggles to maintain proper pressure. By eliminating boost leakage, the EM allows your turbo to reach and hold target boost more efficiently, reducing wastegate strain and improving long-term reliability.
Plumb Back vs. Dual Port — What’s the Difference?
The Kompact EM Series offers two venting styles depending on your performance goals and sound preference:
Dual Port (This Product)
-
Vents air both to the atmosphere and back into the intake
-
Produces a crisp, sporty turbo sound without being overly loud
-
Delivers a perfect blend of performance and audible feedback
-
Popular for performance builds that want improved response and sound
-
Fully controlled by the OE ECU—no tuning required
Plumb Back (Recirculating)(For reference — not this product) Click here for Plumb Back
-
Vents 100% of excess boost back into the intake system
-
Maintains quiet, OEM-like operation
-
Ideal for stealth performance or noise-restricted areas
-
Optimizes metered airflow—great for stock or lightly modified setups
-
Most “factory-like” sound and behavior
Both options provide identical performance benefits. The choice comes down to the amount of sound you prefer and how you want the excess boost to be routed.
