Designed for maximum performance and efficiency, this intake system significantly improves airflow to your engine, resulting in noticeable gains in horsepower, torque, and throttle response.
At the heart of the system is Takeda’s massive 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow Pro DRY S air filter. This oil-free, three-layer synthetic media provides excellent filtration efficiency and superior dust-holding capacity without the need for oils, making it perfect for daily-driven street vehicles. The inverted top design increases filter surface area, allowing for longer service intervals and consistent performance.
The intake system features a one-piece sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This innovative design captures cooler air directly from behind the front grille while minimizing heat soak from the engine bay. The housing also includes a clear sight window, allowing for quick and easy inspection of the filter without disassembly, saving time on maintenance.
Takeda’s patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces the number of parts required, making installation quick and straightforward. An auxiliary air inlet provides flexibility, allowing users to either draw in additional airflow or seal the system depending on driving conditions.
The oversized, dyno-tuned intake tube is engineered using advanced computer modeling to maximize airflow and performance while maintaining precise fitment. Constructed from durable XLPE material, the tube resists heat soak and ensures long-lasting reliability. An included extension harness allows for seamless relocation of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
